The BSc (Hons) Nursing programme prepares students to become compassionate, skilled, and knowledgeable healthcare professionals capable of delivering high-quality, person-centred care across a wide range of clinical and community settings. Combining scientific knowledge with practical experience, the programme equips students with the clinical, communication, and leadership skills required to meet the evolving needs of patients, families, and healthcare organisations. Students develop a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, health assessment, evidence-based practice, pharmacology, patient safety, ethics, public health, and professional nursing standards.

Through a combination of classroom learning, clinical simulations, practical skills training, research projects, and supervised placements, students gain valuable hands-on experience while applying theory to real-world healthcare environments. About Program

The BSc (Hons) Nursing programme is designed to develop highly skilled, compassionate, and confident nursing professionals who are prepared to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care within today’s diverse and evolving healthcare environment. The programme combines a strong foundation in health sciences with practical clinical experience, enabling students to understand the complex physical, psychological, social, and emotional needs of individuals across different stages of life. Through a blend of academic study and hands-on learning, students develop the knowledge, professional values, and clinical abilities required to make a positive impact on patient outcomes and community wellbeing.

Students explore key areas including anatomy and physiology, health assessment, clinical skills, pharmacology, infection prevention and control, public health, mental health, evidence-based practice, patient safety, leadership, healthcare ethics, and professional accountability. The programme encourages students to develop a holistic approach to nursing, recognising the importance of dignity, compassion, equality, and respect when providing care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
